Brian has over 25 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, as a trainer and athlete– he played eight consecutive years in the American Football League. Brian is a force to be reckoned with!
As a veteran athlete, Brian is a seasoned fitness professional and a man of action! Having earned a full 4–year football scholarship to Liberty University in Virginia, George majored in Commerce, pursued football and was drafted for a professional football career.
During his education at Liberty, Brian also studied nutrition, flexibility, cardiovascular training, and the importance of recovery. He became adept in using Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) also known as partner stretching. Later he would incorporate everything he learned into his specialized Body Maintenance Fitness personal training and performance training programs.
Many individuals in Brian’s social and professional circle were intrigued with his style of training, which resulted in his ability to stay in playing form all the time. His in-depth understanding of the human body and the benefits of physical fitness and recovery became very apparent to the people around him, and the people they knew. His natural ability to communicate extremely well with people of all walks of life, and his uncanny understanding of the human anatomy and the benefits of exercise, created the foundation to Body Maintenance Fitness – and the entity that it has grown to be today.
In the last 2 decades he has tailored his Body Maintenance Fitness programs for athletes of all levels, from novice to elite. He has created results-oriented programs for weight loss, conditioning, strength training, and speed enhancement – all of which provide optimal physical and mental results for people of all walks of life.
Brian’s successful 25-year run as an athlete, his competitive and winning attitude, his knowledge of how the body moves, and his understanding of the importance of recovery, have all played an integral and important part in the success of his clients. In fact, some of his clients compete as professional athletes or aspire to become professionals.
For the non–athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all levels, Brian provides compassion and discipline. He can modify workouts to fit your goals in a fun and safe manner. His high tempo and strength training regimes catapult client confidence by taking you through different fitness phases and beyond the limits of what you have experienced before.
When Brian first launched Body Maintenance Fitness, he designed and implemented his personal and performance training programs wherever he went. It was a little something he did on the side, while studying at Liberty University in Virginia on a full 4–year football scholarship, and eventually while playing professional football. His custom programs kept him in top athletic form, on and off the football field.
Currently, Brian coaches clients, trainers, athletes and all fitness enthusiasts with Body Maintenance Fitness personal and performance training programs. Brian is committed to helping others improve their health and ultimately achieve their personal fitness and wellness goals! Brian’s long-time alliances with medical professionals further increase the success and benefits available to Body Maintenance Fitness clients.
Over the years, Brian has provided many personal trainers with the opportunity to learn his fitness programs under his tutelage, which in return benefits all members of his facility. Brian oversees and continues to monitor the development of the personal and performance training programs today. He also continues to provide his clients with what they come to him for year after year– Results!
